I have to say I don’t really like the colour change.Maybe it’s just because of the background being all pink but red boxes/words kind of hurts my eyes,like it’s hard to focus.
OhHaiMe, yeah, I know, I agree. I could have done the lines in a very dark green instead of dark red brown. The lines would stand out from the warm colors instead of blend, and the contrast would be better. And easier on your eyes!
you know the colors reminded me of something that i couldn’t quite place, until now. This strip has a very “newspapery” feel to it. Something I’d expect to see when Iopenthe Press-Telegram on a Monday. Good job! Keep playing and may I request purple as a color to play with? Maybe with some gold in there too.. tee hee
Come on guys, don’t any of you watch the movies? 🙂 Whenever a girl states that a relationship is “strictly professional”, it’s illegal for there not to be an elevator make-out scene later on in the film.
Oh Cargo, your heart is on your sleeve again! And Dave, Meela’s expression in the last panel is perfect – I saw it in the mirror just this morning.
Proof that Cargo is more man then monkey.
BTW,The colours looks really faded and tinted red. Was that on purpose?
Good eye, OhHai. Yeah, I’m always playin’ with colors. The lines are dark red/brown instead of black, just to give it some flavor.

The color complements Cargo’s subdued, and now melancholy demeanor. I think that a contrasting color for the text would detract from the imagery.
is that a murse?
@angela
Looks like a duffel bag to me.
