Reminds me of Mocha, our Miniature Longhair Dachshund, you can’t pet her without getting a liquid response. Twicepipe has a strong resemblance: long snout, baleful eyes, wiggle-tail, dark exterior, and then there’s that oil thing.

BTW, did this vehicle just materialize from subspace, or what?!

I like that name! Twicpipe- it’s got a sort of nonsensical logic that’s years later (y’know once SpaceBase8 is a huge franchise) people will probably have to remind themselves that it’s a made up name. Any insight into where it came from?

Well, youse guys, twice-pipes refers to the twin exhaust pipes that serve as Twicepipe’s waggy tail. I first heard the term as a teenager on a Cheech and Chong recording, and thought it had a keen ring to it.
“Santa Claus used ta have this
Really charp chort, man, y’know? It was lowered to da ground, had Twice-
Pipes, candy-apple red and button top. Oooo, clean!”

“Charp chort” = “sharp short” = “cool car” in Cheechspeak.

The urban dictionary defines twice-pipes as: “the having of dual or “twice” exhaust pipes exiting a vehicle. this is most commonly reffered to in 4×4 trucks”, but on the web I find it mostly referring to an after-market exhaust system for 240Z and 280Z cars.

Putting twice-pipes on your car makes it sound real vroomy.

    Vroom!

Oh, and Sysarc, yeah, I think it did just materialize from subspace! I made the flashy outline around Twicepipe just to show him off as shiny and new, but I like your interpretation too. You get a non-prize. It is in the mail. Or rather, the non-mail. 🙂

Twicepipes sound twice as nice, the Nova I had in HS had twicepipes. Seems like this particular Twicepipe resembles an old school Harley (complete with a wet spot) or a newer OCC custom. Tricky David, very tricky!
