Cargo: Shrunk to the size of an atom! How could this possibly get worse? Sweet saucers! What is that?!!!
Vesto: There he is. I was about to give up looking.
That’s the way to keep your eye on things! And, I wish I had thought to switch on the camera phone when Wendy opened up her birthday book 🙂 You would have loved it!
Hey Barbara, you’re right, that would have been great to see. Please say hello to both of your daughters for me. And by the way, thanks so much for your support of my comic for all this time, it means a lot to me. You’re the best. 🙂
Yeah, Eric, these are things a non-animated cartoon doesn’t really need to address; I can get away with ignoring reality quite a bit. I guess I do that a lot in real life too. 😛
“How is he breathing, anyway? Wouldn’t oxygen molecules be too big for him to inhale? ” (Cartoonist looks the other way and whistles…)
Oh I say the universe of a cartoon can be quite perverse–
atoms act strangely, characters change daily, no it can’t get worse–

When you’re the size of an atom, don’t call ’em madam,
or else you’ll be quarked or worse–
that’s the end of the verse
(PS I know it’s nonsense, roll with me!)
