Rayguns that make that “pew pew pew” sound cost extra. He was so excited he probably bought the ‘comprehensive package’ you know the one, extra batterries(not charged for safety), holster (with stars for cowboy authenticity), insurance(that excludes anything slightly disintegrated), and a subscription to Raygun Monthly(the magazine with all the Must haves that aren’t included in the comprehensive package).
Two Pew-ing rayguns don’t seem to be any more effective than Cargo’s single Pfaff-ing weapon. So tell me, Tonto, how does Lighthouse, the sidekick, help Cargo defeat the bad guys with exposed craniums? Maybe they’re sensitive to intense light.
excellent page, loved the colors! and seems that his raygun was not what he expected, let’s hope it does the job, no matter how it sounds!

love the colors, looks like cargo needs to adjust the controls on his gun to pew pew pew. didn’t he read the chart?
It’s almost as if this strip is vibrating right on the page! Fantastic artwork! 😀
LOVE IT!!!
It reminds me of that old axiom “Scientific progress goes Boink”
Love the third panel, and Cargo’s expression in the last one is perfect

It’s Pew-Pew envy.
