What a beautiful strip today. When it opened on my screen my jaw dropped. I love the colors on Murphee (the real one)- the dark purple outline on him is really nice and almost acts as the cast shadow on the yacht and some tentacles.

A sci-fi comic strip just ain’t a sci-fi comic strip without a giant space mollusc! What a panel!

Murphee grew some. Wonder what the crush depth rating is for that space yacht. This toon just gets better.

David I just love Murphee! The color on this strip is gorgeous and the size of the last panel is absolute perfection. You never cease to amaze me with your talent and eye for color. Love your strip almost as much as I adore you!

The dark hues are accounted for by the shadow of the beast, subtle. Also like another subtlety in the second frame where the “isn’t Murphee” points to itself as if to say, “who, me?”
