Both Cargo and his space suit have gone through a few revisions since these early ideas were sketched out.

The name of the comic is Space Base 8, but we don’t get to see the outside of Space Base 8 itself very much. Here are some concept sketches.

Lighthouse is the “cute” character. I tried having him talk babytalk in his first appearance, but decided not to continue with that.
